The Bentec Medical, Inc., Silicone Block is a rectangularly shaped piece of Silicone Elastomeric. It is available in four different consistencies: soft, medium, firm and extra-firm. They may be readily trimmed with a knife or scissors to desired configuration. This trimmable feature allows the surgeon to custom fabricate, at surgery, an implantable prosthesis for specific surgical indication.
